Well, I've owned several Jeeps and my current one is the one that I've taken out on the trails. I've only been to Superllift, SMORR, and Hawk Pride. I really enjoy doing 3's and 4's. The way mines built makes it extremely capable of doing these level trails very comfortably. I have done only a couple of level 5 trails. I like doing the rocky trails, the intricate ones that you have to think about. I didn't do too well with the Ghoulie but I'm pretty good at picking a line in the Ghost. I guess because it's my rig. The off camber trails are ok to an extent. I'm looking forward to going out west, hope to make the Disney trip that's coming up. I've never looked into any kind of Expo stuff but I'm sure that'd be a nice change and fun to do.

Mall Parking lots, dirt roads, fire roads, light (1's and 2's) trails. Until I get the skids, sliders, and gussetts done going to stick with those- but want to try it on some rocks when it's ready. As for enjoyment- I really like just a good, long, wilderness road in such a state of disrepair as to discourage cars and 2 wheel drives. Currently looking for some place to go wilderness camping that a friend of mine and I can take our Jeeps.

I grew up playing with 3 wheelers in the mud out on the farm but life got in the way! When I picked up my first jeep (a 95 XJ) the mud was the only place I knew to take it. Started off but throwing mud tires under it and it just kind of grew from there...ended up with a 3" rustys lift and 31" tsl's and had a blast! Then I met up with a jeep club and some of you and was introduced to the rocks. Now THAT was cool! I still loved the mud but had a new addiction now. Ended up building the XJ up with a 7" lift, 35" tires, lockers, gears, and the other usual stuff. I did more to that jeep than any vehicle I had ever owned. Ended up getting rid of it for a 4 runner because the kids were having fun and just didn't have enough room in the back seat of the 2 door XJ. That started my spiral of finding the rig for me...I was hooked on the rocks and kept wanting to go further and push it harder. The family didn't like the runner, wanted a jeep they could take the top off of so I got rid of it and picked up a 98 TJ on 33's. It wouldn't go where I wanted so I got rid of it and got a 95 YJ most of you know as Mr. Twister. I finally had as close to my dream rig as I could start with and could go anywhere I had the nerve to point it! Unfortunately this scared the shit out of my wife and most of my kids... life got in the way again and I decided it was time for a break from the hobby so I got rid of the YJ. It didn't take long for me to get tired of looking at 4 walls on a beautiful day so I picked up a 4 wheeler and play in mud holes again...funny how life does full circles sometimes, isn't it! Lol

Moab is awesome..... Everyone needs to go there at least once in their Jeep career. I like trails that are challenging yet will not destroy side panels or tops. Mine is very capable but I have too much invested to go tear it up just to climb one hill. I prefer to trail ride and hill climb then be able to drive it home and on nice days without it looking like I have just wrecked it. The side by sides are great to beat around and test your fear factor. Some may consider my Jeeps mall crawlers, but I will be able to go where I NEED to go if and when that happens. Until then, I go where I want and back in style... No room for haters....

That being said...can I drive the diesel LJ? ![:whistling:](//storage.proboards.com/3613987/images/9Vx789fBJ5k0Fsb3y3lL.gif)

![](//storage.proboards.com/3613987/thumbnailer/5wE9uG0bMsfEpfWq4f8h.jpg) Of course. They are built for driving.... Gonna get a few tweaks done this week. I hope to get it to a big hill soon. Not much for speed, but it has traction like a cat's tongue...

Had multiple jeeps and loved them all. Started with a 75' CJ5 on 33's that went to a full build on 42's and tons. Sold it when I moved from Washington to Mississippi. Missed having a jeep so I bought the 98' TJ. It had 33AT's and a 4" lift. Since then It's progressed to a very capable jeep able to do any lvl 4 trail and quite a few 5's with the right line. My goal was to keep it streetable cause I didn't want it to turn out like the CJ and have to be trailered everywhere. Bought a buggy and loved it but once again the military is forcing a move so I sold it and kept the jeep as it is more multi-purpose and can do both the on/off-road stuff that I enjoy. I'm sure I'll have another one at some point in time.
I love just being able to ride around in the jeep on nice weekends and to/from work every now and then. Loved the power of the 6.0L in the buggy. I'm just as happy riding shotgun/spoting/pulling cable for someone as I would be driving it myself. Love crawling the rocks, hate the mud, and miss the deep snow wheeling. That about sums it up for me.
