Well since I've had my Jeep it's been thru a huge transformation.. I started out stock on 30" tires running a simple 1's and 2's trails... then bumped up to 33's and 35's and found myself liking the 4's and 5's until I kept breaking.. Now that it's built to where it won't break as much I've even got the chance to race a little and see what that's like.. kinda lost the reason to find any 2's and 3's anymore.. But this last trip to Hog's wild I found myself doing some easier trails just to play around and found out I kinda missed the relaxation that comes from just riding and not having to deal with breakage or trying to always navigate over obstacles.. What I have yet to try is any kind of Expo type trails or any open sand dunes or Mountain climbing trails.. So my question is.. what kind of trail riding have you tried so far and what do you wanna try?? Also what have you tried and hated and why?? aaaaaannnddd GO!

We traveled miles of rough trails, fire roads and gravel roads on the west side of spring river back in the summer and except for having to stop and repair the poorly installed electric fan wiring several times we had a blast. Just driving trhu the woods enjoying nature. We even found some primitive camping spots right next to the river miles from any develpoed areas that will be on our list of places to revisit in the future

My son is just getting to the age where he talks about going camping and even went on his first camping trip last year. I think the expo type riding and camping would be a blast.

I've done TONS of stuff in the ATV world of riding and camping and stuff. Everything from mudbogs on my old Rancher, to riding trails around Knoxville, to riding for a full weekend in the delta. My favorite (with the ATV's) was always more like the expo stuff. Tis the reason I'm trying to get my B2 to where I can do some expo stuff, drive from here to the trails, drive on the trails, camp on the trails, drive it back. Nothing major.
I can't really talk about it much as far as vehicles... ain't done much of it other than fields and hunting trails.

The most fun vacation I've ever been on was an expedition style trip last fall. We followed the Trans America Trail from here out to Moab and spent a day wheeling in Moab. It took us over a week to get out there and we experienced all types of trails and terrain. It was truly the trip of a lifetime.

I like leading trails on 3-4 level I have as much fun spotting people as I do behind the wheel on most obstacles. The look on people's faces when they make it up a hard ledge makes this sport worth it. Not to mention the stories around the campfire afterwards... I enjoy the Camping at most parks as much as the wheeling I'm not able to do the Expo style too much Cuz I'd have to pull a trailer with all my crap not to mention 2 Jeeps and Slinky isn't exactly street friendly...

Just hard to convince the little lady that riding around in a Jeep for a week is fun..

I love the way that we have all built my Jeep. I like being able to run 4's if I want to, but I also like to be able to have my family in the Jeep with me, and know that I can confidently run 1-3 level trails safely, having them with me. I also LOVE the woods and easy riding trails at Natchez Trace! I would also like to go out to Moab one day and play aroubd out there!!!

That's one thing I do miss about my Jeep now is the fact that I can;t just take it on a trip anywhere now.. It's more like a toy that gets used every now and then... Of course when it's used it's fuckin awesome.. But no more riding around the streets on a nice summer day

I haven't had mine out much, but from what I have done, I do like hitting the rocks and seeing how far she'll go. With that said, I haven't pushed her too hard since she's my DD. The last run we went on with Jeff's was a blast (considering) so I'm really looking forward to what that beast of his will do after he gets the hydro assist done and everything else. I've already been promised that I can drive it.....I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy those 4's and 5's a lot more than the 3's mine goes on.
I would also like to do some expedition type stuff...and I would LOVE if we ever got to go out to Moab and other places out west.

As for wheeling, I love the challenge of the rocks but the one camp sunshine I was able to attend was nice and relaxing. Just a nice drive through the woods and taking in nature. Even saw an owl! I'd love to do expedition wheeling...but not in the TJ. I'd want something like an XJ with room for storage and gear.

Started in the jeep scene 25 years ago, Was a big mud riding dude . Kinda lost interest , got tired of cleaning the mud off and fighting to keep the water out of everything. And tired of blowing up motors and transmission. Mud riding is really hard on motors and just everything in general. Went drag racing for a while , now iam back to jeeps again. I have just always liked my jeeps. Went to SMORR for the fall run, and now I just cant stay away from hawks pride. I just love to see if I can climb over them stupid rocks! I really want to go to Moab mostly to just see it and of course to ride it. I wanted to go to Moab 20 years ago and just still havnt made it there. Maybe in the near future. AS for now iam pretty content with just finding the next rock to crawl over
