Yeah, it was the one time it actually bothered me to cut on the XJ.

Man that's great! You'll have so much more to work with now. From the looks of it you don't have much fab work to do other than the obvious of the drive train. Good score!

I saw you on 55 when you were going home with that. My ex landlord's son used to own that thing. He beat the snot out of it and it never broke until the electric fan quit and cooked the engine. He got rid of it after that.

Thanks for all the comments! We've been doing a lot of work on it, but can't say any one part is finished yet. Some of the progress has been: removed the propane parts, got the main stems of the motor mounts done so that the engine is isn't on a jack anymore (still have more bracing/gussetting to do) trans crossmember started, front axle in place and and started making front link mounts, got the old drivers seat out and my old one sitting in it, rear axle rolled into place, started looking at the front coilovers and I'm going to have to raise the mounts about 5". This is already going to sit a decent amount higher than the XJuggy just to get the right belly clearence. The tube on the bottom drops down for a flat belly skid. Here are a few pics from along the way.
