JK guys... What are the mods/upgrades you have that recommend to others? What are the ones you spent $$$ on you regret?
Ones I Like:
RuffStuff Steering
Synergy drag link
Metalcloak arms
Trek Armor seat covers
Ones that are "okay":
Smitty Flares, fitment pretty much sucks
K&N Cold air intake, I like it bc I got it so cheap but I wouldn't spend full price on it.

Stock JKs are very capable rigs. With very little in the way of lift you can clear 35s easy and run 4s all day.
I've gone with the ride until it breaks theme with my upgrades, so I don't really have a list of parts that I would say folks just have to have. Raising my rear, lower shock mounts was one of the more helpful things I've done though.
Parts I wish I had not purchased...anything from rough country. They are an inexpensive way to get mods but from my experience, their products just have not held up for me.

Balljoints: Synergy I hear are the best
C braces
Truss for the D30
Diff covers
Track bar: I've heard the new ones like to get loose easily
and Skids: cause the stock ones suck!
Other than that the normal stuff like sliders, bumpers etc.. I haven't priced or checked on reviews for anything since mine is about where I want it for now..

I probably should do a teraflex (or similar) hd tire carrier and would like to do a bulldog programmer that has the obd reader and crap.

Mine rides on a trailer now, so my future plans have changed a bit  Gotta recoup from the truck purchase and buy said trailer first though... |
