I'm looking at relocations muffler on my 2 door JK so I can install an OAB. I want to put the tank where the stock muffler is.
Question: will moving the muffler mess with emissions and or engineer performance? I wouldn't thing it would but wanted to make sure.

just relocating the muffler will not do any harm.
Finding a place to relocating it to might be trouble tho

That's how Parker's is set up. You'll want armor under your tank.

I thought of getting a round muffler and putting it under the driver side. I should be able to get one small enough to not have to move the evap canister

Mine is relocated and it didn't cause any issues. I personally wouldn't mount my OBA under the jeep. If your determined to though, make sure it gets a skid built by Zeus himself!  |

Mine was under the Ghoulie for years... Tank, pumps, relay.. the whole bit. Of course it was under the back seat in front of the rear axle not in the very back.. |

Seen a lot of JK mufflers get crushed in the stock location, including my own. Hate to see that happen to a pricey air system.

Muffler between frame and EVAP....  Compressor mounted in mini trunck....  I did have a pic of the tank mounted in stock muffler location but it seems to have been deleted. |

I put a flowmaster in front of my axle and relocated the evap above the axle on my 2 door JK. I put my OBA between the engine and radiator though.

I've got a 3 gal tank mounted between the indention of the trunk and the frame. I do need to get a skid plate built and mounted tho. I'll get a pic asap and post it up!
