Me and 3 buddies are taking our ATVs to the Covington pike bottoms sat. We haven't rode them in so long it'll be like trying something new again. Anyone wanna tag along feel free

Not very. I'm over trying to go through the deepest holes. We just go to get out and hae a good time. We r doing Cracker Barrel off Canada road around 10 and then leaving from there. I figure we'll be unloaded by 1115-1130. As it is now we are gonna park next to the Texaco on summer in front of the drive in.

There has been a lot of break ins and trailer thefts at garden ridge by the drive in recently. Will things be any safer where you are planning on parking?

You gotta know how to deal with the locals. You chain, lock and strap that truck and trailer down with an alarm and you'll come back to an empty parking spot. You leave the window cracked and the keys in the ignition and it'll be, "naw quantarius, dat a bait car mane."

after all that rain yesterday, I wonder what the bottoms look like?
Or was that rain just mainly in North MS?

Where I am thinking about is a part of the parking lot east of the Texaco. Its a big open part of the parking lot and all sides of our vehicles will be in full view. Ive parked my truck and trailer there several times when I took the Toyota and never had a problem. The guys that have problems are the ones that park up against the Garden Ridge building next to the Drive In drive and also a lot of the break ins are after dark when the natives and illegals go shopping for cars to break in. We can meet there and if anyone is uncomfortable with it we can go into the 'Bush and park. Its not a big deal to me. I was just figuring that we could get a little extra trail time going in at the drive in. GG |

The ride went real good till we went past Hollywood. In a slow tight section, my lower right ball joint separated. After trying everything from zip ties to winch cable, I finally hooked my winch to a friends back rack and he pulled, I pushed, it to the side of the off ramp.
A few calls later I had a friend, that was on duty, show up and got a ride back to garden ridge and my truck. Now its sitting in the middle of my lift waiting on parts. My understanding is that this is a fairly common problem on the earlier Grizzlies. Going with some good quality American made aftermarket joints.
Just what I need, something else to work on.
