This is going to be my Dana 60 tear down and rebuild thread for the "new" axles going into Slinky.
How the axles looked when I got them home from St. Louis. Thanks to Charlie and James for the help. Front HP Kingpin 60 from a 89 F350 with lockouts.

Start removing the outer locking mechanism by removing the allen head screws holding it in place. ![](//storage.proboards.com/3613987/thumbnailer/MIzq_yQQ6PCeFDnoy_gu.jpg)
Then the Snap ring holding the internals in place and the phillips head screw holding the internal cog in place. Attachments:![](//storage.proboards.com/3613987/thumbnailer/p60Qy5dnxdthBEDsatM4.jpg)

Since I'm doing a complete rebuild I wanted to make sure the spindles were in good shape so I had to remove the 2 spindle nuts and washer between the 2 in order to remove the bearings
