Only works if you pay for it unless you know what you're doing that's not so, unless Charlie is paying extra for it. My work phone is Sprint Samsung Galaxy Droid... There is an app called Foxfi that you use to be able to download from the Play Store.. but they took it off cause Sprint charges for their hotspot service... So now they have a website that you can go to and DL it from... set it up and your phone is a hotspot.. No jailbraking or nothing.. Last few months they decided to limit your data usage unless you pay 8.99.. Still worth it if you use it all the time like I did...

Is my iPhone able to be done this way? I've looked for an app but so far all I've found is hot spot security stuff. Does anybody have a name of an app or website to use for this? I'd be much appreciated if you did. Thanks Tim.

I used my jailbroken iPhone all the time for mobile internet, it worked great... I kinda miss it now that I have the new iPhone and it's not jailbroken, yet... How did it work? Did you connect the two or what? personally I used mywifi4.0 from Cydia(the jailbroken app store)... it offered either wifi, wired (via usb cable, fastest option), or bluetooth... You open the app, turn on the method you want (wired is preferred), then you're good to go.. It worked great, and that was just with the iPhone 4 so I didn't have 4G or LTE or anything. PLUS IT'S FREE... ATT wants like $30 more a month to teather

Ben, did you jailbreak yours yourself? I've looked at different site about downloading stuff to JB for you but didn't know. If you used a site which one and how long did it take? Thanks Tim

I have a friend that was telling me about an app that would make your phone a mobile hotspot without jailbreaking it or without adding extra charges to your bill...I'll get with him and see what it was.
We use Verizon aircards on the boat and they work well...as long as you have cell service you have internet, but it slows down and speeds up as your signal comes and goes. Just like browsing the internet on your phone does.

I found an unlimited prepaid hotspot package but it was expensive. So that's what interested me in the jailbreak option. We'll see how it turns out. Thanks everybody. Tim

I haven't looked for it yet but he said it was called Klink. Said a search should pull it right up for you.

Thanks Tim yeah I did it myself, it's not hard at all.... it just depends on what iOS you are currently running and if there is a jailbreak available for it yet.
