When we did my 8.8 we cut my exhaust. After driving around it has melted My evap lines. I drove from hot springs to Memphis with it melted and check engine light on. Yesterday I cut the lines and ran gas hose over it, I reset the computer and it came back on.
What will that affect my everyday driving ? I thought bout removing the bulb

Another reason I'm thankful my evap stuff is under the hood. Mine was all under the hood but I removed it and still don't have a light on. I thought there'd be a fuse for it but I gave up I do need to find someone who has a 02-06 tj Just to make sure I connected them correctly.

Do you not have a muffler teach?
If so get a turn down and put it on the end of the exhaust pipe..

If it melted those I'd check your tank too. It is not far from them and also plastic.
