Ok, have a look at this pic... This is a 2004 X, 3" Zone Lift with 3/4" spring spacer lift, on 35" BFG MT's. If I put a 3.25" Suspension lift with 3/4" spring spacers, do you think I could tuck some 35" Pro Comp Xtreme MT2's enough to get by until I get some flat flares? I'm thinking its possible without DL vibes. Thoughts?

I don't see why you couldn't. You could even trim out the flares a little for a little more clearence.

Since yours is a Rubicon it has the factory fixed yoke in the rear output so make plans to have a good drive shaft made and that will help with vibrations as well.

Why not go with a body lift? I have a rough country 3.25" suspension lift with a 1.25 bl. The suspension really measures around 3" due to weight.
Can the auto Rubicons use a mml?

The more i read about it, I think I am going to run 3.25 and 33's. I can always upgrade later to get to 4.5". Im not ready to regear yet and 35's are going to make this thing a slug.

My opinion if your really wanting 35s. I would wait a save a little more money eyes and do the kit that you want. Don't settle for something now and later spend even more money putting the lift and tire that you originally wanted in the first place.

Go ahead and build for 35's so you don't have to do it again later. Run the 33's till you regear you'll be time and money ahead. My two cents.

This ^^^^^ I did it backwards as well... wanted the big ole tires forst and got stuck with same gears and low power for a while.. I wouldn't go over a 3.25" lift if your sticking with a short arm.. ride will suffer. I always, always always tell people to do the 1.25" body lift with the shifter linkage on a TJ.. Makes more room around the tires, but it will also make room underneath for added extras, (air tank, pump, tranny work, etc) It's much easier to work on with the BL
