Hey I will be looking to install gears in my tj. Its my dana30/8.8
I'd rather not take my jeep to a shop and use this time to learn something. Itd be a great time to bond with some old and new members. I would greatly appreciate any help I receive.

Ill have everything by Saturday so its whenever for me. Thanks!! I'm good for almost any saturday and sunday, just let me know. Questions for the folks that have done gears before, can we disassemble everything down to the bare housings and do both at once or does that have to many things going at once? Just better to do one end at a time? Reason I asked is I have adjustable heavy duty saw horses and I was thinking having both housings in the same place at the same time. Greg G

If you "shit it and get it" they can be done in the same day.. So long as there are no issues and you start early. And there is no need to remove the axles from the jeep.. I don't see you gearing 2 axles and installing one as well in the same day
