Im looking at buying gears right now. What are some good quality manafactuters. I looked at g2 on 4wheelparts.

Would a master install kit be needed for both or would a basic install kit be sufficient.

Ok with 4.88 gears in the 8.8, will diff pin be needed. It might be called something else...

You can just notch one ring gear tooth.
