Me and a buddy were thinking the other day about taking a trip out west with the trucks and the biggest obstacle is getting them both there. Not wanting to use two trailers and two tow rigs we thought about putting them both on one trailer.
Questions are
1) A toyota and jeep TJ, how long of a trailer would I need to tow them both safely? 2) Gooseneck or bumper pull? 3) I have a 96 F250 turbo diesel, is this enough truck to do this with?
I will get a wheelbase measurement on the toyota tomorrow.
Any other advice fell free to throw it out there

Gooseneck for sure. You have the truck to do it with. I would guess somewhere around 28-30 feet long maybe 26 but I bet it would be tight.

I pulled a 24' gooseneck with my 2500HD Duramax to CO with a TJ and a CJ. There was no room to spare. I would probably say either. 26-28' with one rig parked partly up on the neck or a 32' and both should fit on the deck. Easiest thing would be to park them nose to tail and get out a tape.

Oh and you couldn't pay me enough to pull two rigs out west on a bumper pull. Goose all the way!

No way bumper pull. If you do, dual sway bars and levelers will be mucho niceo. Gooseneck all the way. The truck can handle it.

I was figuring the goose neck would be the best route. We are still just tossing this around but we figured we will be out the cost of thing that goes in the bed for the goose neck or the swaybar/stabelizer for a bumper pull.
This is still in the planning stages right now but thanks for the advice
