Leave it on the Jeep a couple days in the heat and the wrinkles will stretch back out. Good score!

The 07 headers were plastic, too. Had a lot of wind noise and leaked because it would not hold he front of the top flat. I upgraded my header with a new metal one when I replaced my top in March.

I wondered about that... the 07 top had a bow in the middle of it at the windshield channel... this one lays flat all the way across..

So here we are again... Haven't posted in here in a while.. mainly cause I haven't done anything to the Jeep much other than taking it out on trails.. and I've been working like a dog! What I have needed to do was to crawl under and fix the small things that I needed fixed for a while. Mainly the evap canister that has a hole in it. The dealer wanted $450 to replace the canister cause I smashed it against a rock and broke it loose from the skid plate.. so instead I used some epoxy to cover the hole until I can find another one cheaper and get a relocation kit installed.. here are some pics.. The plastic broke causing the evap to move over till it rubbed against the drive shaft wearing a hole in it.. ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/B2B%20stuff/20141210_172114_zps9c301e28.jpg) Broke one of the tips off that hold it in,. ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/B2B%20stuff/20141210_172120_zpse0b46567.jpg) and the plastic piece that broke too.. cheap ass shit!! ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/B2B%20stuff/20141210_172252_zps3ff81c07.jpg) So I bent the plate back straight.. put the remaining tip in place and zip tied the shit out of it so it wouldn't move.. guess I still have some redneck ingenuity left in me.. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/B2B%20stuff/20141210_173101_zps1a3eb357.jpg) ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/B2B%20stuff/20141210_173121_zps4105ad13.jpg) Now I have to do something about this.. looks like the converter got a little taste of rock love too.. Looks like plenty of room for a glass pack.. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/B2B%20stuff/20141210_172133_zps3ad6deea.jpg) Next on the list.. install led's everywhere.. install amps and subs.. straighten out gas tank skid.. and wait for the money tree to bloom for more parts. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Also found some free Rubi shocks so I picked them up. The rear are 1" longer and the front are the same length. The diameter is 1/8" thicker. tried them and didn't notice any difference in ride.. but the rear 1" will help a little on flex.. Just in case anyone is curious on this swap.. ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/B2B%20stuff/20141210_164258_zps6116c5b5.jpg) ![](http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee287/charlied1771/B2B%20stuff/20141210_164244_zps32769616.jpg) BTW.. we finally came up with a "theme".. going to go with a blue metallic highlights inside and out and call it "Bruiser" Flame on!! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
