What's the truck to getting the fan off a late model TJ 6 cylinder. Isn't that big hex thing a reverse thread, turn to right I loosen?
Need help
Can't get it to budge.

No, regular thread, turns counter clockwise to loosen. We just did Justin's this morning. We used an air hammer to break his loose.

Air hammer.. it's on really tight..
If you don't have an air hammer use a long chisel and a big hammer and beat on it in right hand direction..

Thanks everyone. Did the air hammer thing and it popped right off. In the process of doing all the wrong shit I messed up the water pump and started it to leaking so now this lift job includes a water pump replacement. Also had the head of my shop sledge fly off and hit my friend and crash into his engine compartment.
Not a good evening.
