A long time ago I bought a Viper Elite winch for my 660 Grizzly. It outlasted the Grizzly and eventually got transplanted to my new/used Brute Force. Well the Brute bit the dust and the winch is on my new Grizzly now. After the good service from their ATV winch I decided to buy a Viper Max 12000 pound for the Toyota. After 2.5 years it hasnt let me down yet. It pulls like a freight train. It does use a LOT of power but with my Chevy alt conversion it recovers pretty fast.
A friend of mine has a 9500 on his TJ and it has always worked like a champ. The only problem he has had so far is that the handheld controller doesn't work intermittently. He called Moto Alliance and they sent him one next day air.
The winches seem, so far, to be awesome and Moto Alliance's customer service is awesome.
Based on my friends and my experience another buddy ordered the Viper Elite 12000 for his Jeep. Can't wait to install it and see how it looks and works
