The bed on my truck is pretty rusty inside and the bob job was pretty hack so I have been looking into building a bed. Not having a bender kinda limits me. Found this one on Pirate and messaged the owner and he sent me these pics. Lookd pretty easy to build, sturdy, and functionsl, with the addition of a tailgate.

Finally found a bed idea that like and am going to try and duplicate.

Called Southern Steel today and th cost for the 2x4x3/16x20ft and 2x2x1/8x20ft and a sheet of 4x8x1/8 diamond plate is $222.

Will do. I figure an extra set of hands will come in handy to help keep the base square while tacking together. Really hope to be able to start this late spring or early summer.
