How to post pictures on a message board using an image hosting site:
-Sign up for a Photobucket account CLICK HERE to sign up
Free accounts are available. If you want unlimited usage and additional features you can subscribe for around $25 a year.
-Upload your images to Photobucket.
Once you have established your account, sign in and you're ready to begin.
-First, click the green Upload Now button near the top of the screen.
Because of the layout of most forums, images that are larger than 800x600 tend to stretch the windows out of shape, making it difficult to view the images.
Many forums will not allow the posting of images that are larger than 800x600 and will reject a post until the images are an acceptable size.
Photobucket has options that you can set that will automatically resize your images as they upload.
This can make it much easier to manage multiple images.
-Select "customize your upload options"
-Select 800x600 and save your settings.
-Click on: Select photos and videos
-Navigate through your directories to select the images that you wish to upload from your computer, camera or storage device.
-When the files have finished uploading you can tag them or give more information of you so desire.
Finally, click "Save and continue to my album"
Now that the hard part is over all you have left to do is a little simple copy and paste.
When you hover your mouse cursor over an image a menu will appear that looks like this.
The green arrow in the image above indicates the code that you want to use in your post.
All you have to do is click in the area where the code is and it will be copied to your clipboard.
The text will change briefly to the word "copied"
Lastly, in the body of your message, right click in the place where you want the image to appear and choose paste.
OR you can use a keyboard shortcut. Click in the message body and press the Ctrl key and the V key at the same time.
