I did have to get rid of breather box and move battery to that spot and fabing a mount for it now. Still got to find certain compressor parts but all in all whole project should come in under $200.

I got a Sanden style A/C compressor on mine, I'm extremely impressed with how well it works. It reseated Cary and Charlie's tire back on the rim after they came off the rim. I re-air up my tires after a ride with it, used it for impact wrench, and for my air lockers. Not a necessity, but I'd say its one of the handiest tools I've got. Thought about that one but the York has its own oil resasvour . Would like to see your set up though. Might give me ideas I have not thought if yet.

I'm not aware of a separate oil reservoir on mine, but it may have one... I do remember that there are some differences in how the the system is oiled. The sanden is a little smaller and takes ups less space, but I'm sure there's a good reason that Kirby went to the york style compressor. Here's some pics that I already have.

He said he took the breather off and shot a squirt of oil in it a couple times a year. It was a Kilby kit, so everything was already there. Actually, the P.O. said Kilby used his Jeep to design a kit for the 99 model TJ. Sorry, I'm not much help sourcing parts.

Well got compressor mounted. Had to move battery and get rid of air filter box. Have run air line to tank I mounted in back. Charged the system to check for leaks and was none. Now I got to run the electrical and figure a way to mount an v notch pulley on one if the serpentine pulleys to run the thing.

Don't you think that bolting that to the stable body and to the moving engine will be a problem ?
