working on a few things and I have some questions. Looking for opinions from everyone...
-Which way do we tow it, front or back? (If we are hauling stuff in it Im thinking we need easy access to the tailgate)
-Are we going to put doors on it or weld up/skin the door areas?
-What are we going to haul in it now and long term? (Thinking about how much space we need in it)
-How much grill area are we looking for? Few burgers at a time or 100?
-Real tires in the wheel well or trailer tires under it?

Mud tires. Black steelies. I'm playing with thoughts of towing it forwards and backwards but if we don't do a front clip we need to tow it forwards. Back of tub, back of grill.

My thoughts would be a wall at the front of the bed with a hinged tonneau cover. Separate the front with a rail from the bed wall to the dash. You could put a hinge there to have a lid that opens like a truck toolbox. That leaves two options for making doors. Either make them in jeep style by using the door hinges that are on the tub, or hinge them to the top for a butterfly setup. Since I'm not an artist or a fabricator, that's as pretty of a picture as I can give you.

if we decide to do a hard tonneau cover of anytype, I can get short lift rams from the shop.. same thing they use on semi truck cargo doors. I think I have 2 or 3 here now.

Grill up front Parts\Tool trailer in the back! or vise versa. that's one of my thoughts. But if it comes down to a parts/tool trailer...we might need a better axle/suspension setup than what we have now.

Here's another thought.. The grill wouldn;t need to be too big.. We don;t really cook for 100 people at one time.. So stick it in the back with a fold down tailgate.. strap the propane tanks inside the front fender wells under the hood and the middle will be storage for totes, coolers ect.. YJ half doors are cheap and with a little fabbing will work on a TJ.. (ask me how I know) Get a rear cover like a normal TJ would have for covering while not in use.. Pull from the rear...

I think since the ghoulie stays broken so much, we could use it as a donor. It's already rolling we could flat tow it. We could do a firebox out back pipe stage smoke up under the hood. Then you could grill or smoke.

I got this... lol just to be the first to draw something up lol roll out awning 2 flip up lids (one from each side) slide out grill when opening the tailgate open doors the find shelves for parts/tools/run items (shirts, cards, etc) propane tanks either inside the tub or on tongue, if tanks are inside we could mount a toolbox up front.
