Just got home and looked at it and that looks freaking awesome !!! You guys did a great job making the seam between that plate and the tub I noticed it's all cleaned up under the dash too, I like it Yeah like Ben said the tables won't slide in with the dash there.. so it's getting 86'd.. It seems to take up more space than I thought.. The windshield and the door should be dry tomorrow.. We also were talking about just welding the windshield arms to the rollbar if the other end will bolt to the windshield frame.. Not like it's going to be removed anytime.. That's sounds fine to me, I haven't had time to get back to Mr. Complete. I'll still try to get by there if I find time before we get to that point

Grill should be comming very soon.
Once we have it we will need to fab up the rack so that it can move in and out.

so until then, we got nothing? I've got the hitch that needs to be cut and welded on... I also have the 40gallon propane tank we need to make a place for and install.. We have the rack for the 20lb tanks that needs to be mounted and painted.. I'm trying to get the Cat painted and ready so it can sit outside and we can work on the trailer in my garage out of the cold.. I plan on having that done this wknd..

Since that tank has brackets made on it I wonder how well it would work to mount that tank hanging where the original gas tank was

If you do that you'll have to always drag the trailer to have the tank filled so allow access to the fill ports. Also a 40 gal propne tank will be heavy right on the tail end of the trailer. If your still having a problem with tounge weight this may be your solution. If it doesn't have a gauge there should be a port on it to allow for one that will be 1/4 or 3/8 NPT make a high pressure hose out and install a gauge to monitor how much is in the tank. You don't want to go somewhere and run out. My two cents.

That was my point in putting it back there. I was thinking it would help with the weight issue because it would be behind the axle and if we had another regular tank onboard we could use as a backup we shouldnt run out completly. I dont think towing it to get the bigger one filled ocasionaly would be that big of an issue.

But you can't fill the tank with it laying on it's side.

If it is made to be mounted horizontal it should be able to be filled that way.

There was a discussion about this at the cruise in last night and everyone said that the tanks had to be upright to be filled. That's why the fork lift guys unbuckle their tanks when they fill them.
EDIT: After doing some google searching it seems that there are some types of tanks that can be filled horizontally, but they have stickers on them saying so and showing which side goes up. The valving and internal plumbing is different.
