I have a 04 tj. The emergency brake won't work. I have tightened it up but still wont hold. I guess it needs replacing. Anywhere in Hernando yall can recommend to do the job??

Where did you tighten it at? The drum, the Y connection or the handle? Usually.. by the time the brakes wear down the drum assy needs rebuilt.

Yep. Check all adjustment points then check inside the drum. Not hard with a little common sense and only tear one down at a time.

I adjusted at the "Y" under the jeep There should be a hole in the back of the drum assy.. May have a rubber grommet in it.. Take a screwdriver and pry it on the gears of the wheel.. you can try to get it better that way and see.. but a lot of times like I said they usually just need to be rebuilt.. Not sure who's a good shop in Hernando for stuff like that.. I mostly do my own work.. Dave has said the shop on Stateline just West of 51 in Southaven is good..
