Your driving habits will have to change... an auto locker in the rear will even pop so bad when you turn that it feels like you broke something when it lets loose... it's normal but will take some getting use to.. Most definitely! I already KINDA had an idea of what to expect. It's just that what you're told and what you actually experience with something new and different ane 2 totally different things! So far, I'm pleased. Like you said, just gonna have to get used to all its new mannerisms.

It's gonna take some gettin used to, that's for sure! I'm sure I'll love it offroad.....I'd feel better if someone that has been driving a TJ with an auto locker, and knows the characteristics of one, would take mine for a spin while I ride, and tell me if all the popping and clickin is normal..... Was it a lunchbox locker? If so yeah they make a TON of noise Yessir, it's an Aussie.

First time my rear Detroit popped I pulled over and climbed under the truck to see what had broke.

New rubi rails installed. Your gonna love those after you get on your first rock with em.. Oh yea. Especially after crushing my steps on ultimate adventure. I needed them. Now I also have a platform to build the rest of my sliders off of.

Granted my Detroit can't unlock any more around turns...but when it used to be able to it sounded like a shotgun when it did. Scared the shit out of some people at a bus stop once!

Jeremy are you running the D35 rear still? if so I'd be very careful getting on the gas in a turn as with the locker you're MUCH more likely to pop an axle shaft now.

No sir, mine came with and still has a D44! I wouldn't have bought it when I did, otherwise....D44 was my #1 requirement when I was on my TJ search.
