I've read back thru some of this and can't find it. Which trans are you going back with? TF999 or AW4? What kind of cooler are you going to run with it to keep temps down? I'm using the 46rh as Weezie stated. It's a 3spd with an overdrive and is hydraulically controlled vs the 46re that is electronic. I don wanna use a computer so that's why I elected to use the 46rh. I'll just put a regular tranny cooler on it.

I guess I didn't go back far enough. I also have thought about going to an auto and am wondering what made you chose this trans?

I chose this particular tranny because of the no computer control on it. Keeping it as simple as possible, I don't even want to run an electric fuel pump but I have no choice with the fuel cell. A lot of guys have swapped over to an auto tranny using the 46rh, at least that's what the internet says....

The overdrive isn't really necessary, but......I might wanna drive it down to the Krogers every now and then. Honestly, only thing I did was research what tranny most folks were going with and i decided to use it. My main reason is no electronics. I don't really care about the OD on it. But, ya never know if it'll get driven on the street or not...

And I was off on my wheelbase measurement. It's sitting at 105", which is where I wanted it to be. I was worried about the 108 so I'm glad it ended where it is.

At least its technically a roller now! ...minus some C clips.
We definitely were not 100% into it today, but it's still that much closer to being back on the trials! Did you ever hear anything on the trans?
