Going to call and see if other cabin availible. Not perfect for Stef since no bathroom in cabin for night use. (She doesn't like walking in cold to go in middle of night ) Looks like it will either be going here or staying home for New Years so I'm pushing HP hard .

At the time I could have got it. I didn't though. When they said to cancel you had to cancel two weeks in advance. That was fine but when asked if by chance a winter storm happens a day or so before can I cancel due to not being able to safely get there was told no. So Stef would not let me get it . See we got burned by a hotel in Littlerock when Jimmy Buffett canceled from a winter storm and Little Rock was all but closed down and not safe to drive . Ark DOT even asked people to stay off roads. And way they refused to refund or even postpone our stay with them to a safe time. So she was like I'm not spending $300 with no inclement weather cancelation. Think she also remembers the ice storm that hit SL that New Years and wants to be safe than sorry. I am working on her though. Just not sure if the cabin with bathroom will be available now or I should day week of. She did say no to motel. She doesn't want to spend New Years in a motel room and doesn't want use to have to drive back from the park after bringing it in with you all. So now it's up in the air if we go or not. |
