I picked up this 88 zuki about a week ago from work. We have several other nice ones, so I smooth talked my way into this one. It's been sitting up about 3-5 years and was full of rat shit and wasp nests. I stripped it out, washed it and the began fixing all the chewed up wires. I've changed most oils and fluids, then bought a new soft top for it. Today I made the doors removable and ordered up a new alternator. It still has a fuel issue (I'm assuming carb blockage) but will idle for days. Here's a pic I took today after removing the doors. No big plans for it besides getting it running good and fixing a few odds and ends. Mainly I'll be cruising around the home base area with a random mud hole dip or two

Definitely a fun little truck.. er... Whatever it is lol! I guess the almost full can of seafoam in the gas finally did something. I've been cruising in 5th gear at highway speeds with almost zero hiccups. It wanted to act up when I first got on the road but now it's been hitting every gear with ease. It gives a bit of death wobble in 3rd but smooths out after that. It also seems the alternator is working again. I guess one of those many chewed wires was the right one!

Went out to work and amazingly found the backseat. It also had a mouse nest in it and was completely crusty. It took about 15 minutes of scrubbing with purple power to get it to this state I let it dry and threw it in along with the drivers seat. I'm missing a few bolts on the back one but it's secure enough lol Also picked up the right bolts for the doors. Still need to do the rest of them though

Hm I had no idea. Although I doubt id ever really need 2wd low when 4 low is a push away. A locker would be nice because that one wheel spin fucking sucks!
