Sorry I haven't updated this, apparently regearing a JK has its problems. 1. Parts are hard to come by,the dealership only has them, and they want a fortune for them. ($100 for 1 pinion bearing) 2.dealerships are not open on Sundays 3.the axle studs have to be tack welded, to get them out. 4. You need a BMFH to get out the stock pinion. 5. Go easy with the crush sleeve, it gets to tight really quick.
But we did finish the rear last night and working on it a little each day.

Crap! I didn't need to hear this now. Well really I did, I was wanting to regear mine later this summer when I was done with the house.
Hope it goes better for you from here on.

Well, a week and a half later, after getting all the right parts in and uninstalling the bullydog programmer and reinstalling it so that the JEEP comes out of limp mode. It is done.. Huge "THANK YOU" goes out to Mike Penny for all his help and for the use of specialty tools I don't have. Great Guy..

If you still have the YJ that's in your signature, It won't be half as bad. Just remember to buy the master install kit for both axles and the Dana spicer carrier for the front. The thing that took the longest was waiting on the right parts to come in. And then programming the Jeep correctly. You wouldn't have that problem with a YJ.
