Well it wasn't 64 and sunny. 54 and cloudy/a little rain. Good day minus a clutch on the Ghoulie. The Ghoulie made it up the end of Brokefoot and the Weezul made it to the very last rock to get over but my steering box skid and front diff kept getting hung up. Tried winching over it and no go there either. Had to back off it.
Towing the Ghoulie up Big Hill sucks!!!

That Jeep has been through more clutches than any other vehicle I've ever seen!!

That Jeep has been through more clutches than any other vehicle I've ever seen!! Funny thing is I have only replaced it once in the 6 years I owned it.. and that was cause the bearing went out.. the clutch plates were still good! It takes a lot of finesse and practice to learn how to crawl uphill with a clutch.. It's not easy but once you get it down it's better than a auto IMO... With the 5.38 gears it should pull it's own weight pretty much anywhere except vertical!

I abused my clutch, slipped it on purpose crawling for several years, even had a buddy put it in 3rd instead of 1st in a bind and smoke it for a good 30 seconds. Pulled it out a year or so ago and it was a cheap auto zone and looked fine.

I was definitely not kind to that clutch! But I knew it was going to be a huge learning curve for me. Thought I would stall it all day but it only happened 4-5 times. Weird being the 'new' guy all over again! The cam position sensor crapped out damn near as far away from the parking lot as possible. Managed to limp it to the bottom of big hill then weezie pulled me up. Had a great time and I really think I'm going to love this jeep once I get in the groove and make a few changes! Weezie's stretch had no issues and Gregr did awesome on his first real ride! Wonder how long before he sells the camaro??

One thing I did prove on Brokefoot...that Kilby steering box skid is STRONG!

It would be enough for a decent tow rig and trailer though!
