This was an old shooting house at work that's been neglected for a few years. Yes, it's a sleeper cab from an 18 wheeler thrown on a decent home built trailer. My plan, if I choose to do it, is get it and throw a bed in there with shelves, outlets, etc etc.. Any thoughts from the crowd? I have interior pics but on my old phone, now iPod with no SIM card..

That's a cool find man. Don't really have any ideas or anything other than a roll up awning for the side, some window tint, and 4 LED light bars..

I thought about the awning but a pop up canopy will be how my cheap ass goes. Thinking maybe a roof top tent would be badass but defeats my cheap ass logic. It'll probably be a simple interior gut and redo, then paint the outside. I'd like it to have sleeping for two (inside), led lights in and outside, hookups for electricity in and outside and one propane tank for whatever. It's just a thought and we'll see if I even do shit

Leave that paint and write free candy by the door I think you have the right idea. Beds, lights, ac, and a canopy for outside. Keep it simple.

Fuck, I guess I'll go to tractor supply this weekend and pickup some new tires. I hope the bearings are good enough to get it to my house lol. Worst case scenario I get tired of it and sell it off or scrap it. What's to lose....

It's definitely a good start to a badass setup if you do it right.. Look forward to the progress!

Well I used the three jacks on it to raise it. Then took off the wheels to see the damage of years of sitting. All the tires tore apart when removing them, kind of figured that would happen. I cleaned up two rims and shot a light coat of spray paint on one. The other two are rough but can be saved. Anyway I ordered two new tires and will drag it home to start the gut out. I'm seriously hoping there isn't floor rust in this thing. It did sit for a year or longer with the main window open. It was under trees but still... Time will tell..

My dad and I just started a camper rebuid. I totally gutted it and we have half the floor and 1/12 walls reframed. It's going to be my deer camp home. It was given to me so you can't beat free!!
