I looked everywhere for a sheet of marine plywood to replace the one on it but found nothing locally so I came up with a plan. Cut two pieces 4' X 5' and join the two with a piece of 3/4" channel..... Well anyone looked for an aluminum 3/4" I-beam lately ? Well I have... with no luck. So I had another plan. If they don't sell one then i'll make one I found 3/4" channel and bought two of them, clamped them together, drilled holes and riveted them together every 6"s. And now I have an I-beam.

I made a little progress on the boat this weekend.I got all my new carpet, glue, deck bolts, rail risers and some other odds and ends I ordered. I got some of the decking on and the rest cut to fit and ready to install when I get the support beam done. I got started on the beam that holds the transom. I got it bolted to the pontoons but still have some holes to drill in it for wires and cables to run thru.
