Maybe we need to reconsider having a SUMMER run every year if people don't want to ride in the heat then?? we might just consider that. The groups we were trying to avoid conflicting with, have now added runs the same time of year as ours to conflict with us, so why not move ours to times of better climate. Something to think about for future runs. I've always felt this way.

Summer wheeling is the best. Yes it can be hot humid but it's completely dry! The best action you'll get all year. Seems like there are other issues at hand here. Your cooling system should be doing what's it supposed to even under pressure. Constant extreme pressure, maybe not, but crawling is SLOW! What the fuck. Maybe you should look at yours (no one specific). I do the shotgun approach. Everything at once. Thermo, rad, pump, hoses, coolant, fans, whatever. Things wear out...
I'm not against changing the summer run but I'm not for it. I don't give a shit when other clubs do runs and that shouldn't effect how we do ours. We should just wheel and except whoever shows or doesn't. Just saying...

The trails that we did hit were fun, I made it further up the end of Brokefoot than I have in the past. I'll get to the top soon. My rig never overheated but I did, I'm not putting myself through that heat again I just don't need to wheel that bad anymore.

Yeah but lets remember "its a different heat in Arizona" and I've never been one to enjoy sweating my ass off and being surrounded by mosquito's and gnats and ticks, and did I mention I don't like the heat.

It's definitely not the same heat as here Our humidity is what makes it so miserable here. 95° in OK feels nothing like 95° here. Humidity sucks the life out of ya.

Humidity just makes you sweat your ass off which in turn makes you think it's hotter than it is. Add Gatorade with lots of water and your good. I'll suffer a little to have unreal traction..
