Sigh, I have an air over hydraulic tube bender that I bought years ago. It came with a 1 5/8" die, I asked them to swap out the 1 5/8 for a 1 3/4" because that's what I was gonna use for my cage. Then the price of DOM exploded and I have never used my bender. I now need the 1 5/8" die so I can use schedule 40 tube, but it's $300 I can't spare right now.

The 1.5" die in the harbor freight bender is the correct die for the 1 5/8 pipe you have. 1.5 structural pipe has an od of 1 5/8. The hf bender dies are for pipe, and goes by the ID. That is what I used on that 1 5/8 pipe for MJL S sliders.
