I know Charlie has done it, but who else has experience with it?
I'm looking at MAYBE picking up a second RZR and if I do I will have to go with a larger trailer. With my 4 seater and a 2 seater it's looking like a 22' minimum to pull then end to end. Can't turn one sideways because with bumpers the 2 seater will be 9' long and state law only allows 8.5'. Most every state around here allows tandem towing with the exception of Alabama so I would have to pick one if I went to hawk pride I guess. Arkansas, tennessee, mississippi, and missouri all allow tandems though...which with the exception of hawk pride would be about the extent of my towing.
I will be towing with a half ton crew cab rated at 9500 pounds if I remember right.
What are ya'll thoughts? I would like to do a 22' trailer at some point...or maybe a 20' with ramps on the front to drive one up on but that's money! I figure I could do a small 6.5x10 pretty cheap for now.

You can't safely tow tandem unless the front trailer has tandem axles. Otherwise it will be like a snake going down the road. I tried it once, ONCE!

And if I have to get a tandem axle trailer for the front one anyways.....might as well just get a 22' and be done with it.
Ya'll keep your eyes out for a 20-22' trailer used and cheap please! Lol

You don't want a 22' bumper pull. Trust me. Goose neck is the way to got. Good news is the RZRs don't weight that much so you can get by with a low deck and 7500 lb axles.

Get a 20' and I'll help you add a platform to the front to hold the front tires of the front rzr.

I had a 20' when we had all of the four wheelers and it was as long as I would want to bumper pull.

You don't need duelto pull two trailers. It is easier but not a have to. You do want brakes on both though. I drive tandem trailers for a living. I really don't recommend it without proper training. Plus the lead needs to be heavier than rear and should be a goose neck. Just all in all I would say don't . Just my 2 cents.

As far as new the cheapest trailer place I have found is the trading post in olive branch ms. He will come down off his Askin price if you tell him cash money and he also takes trades

I was under the impression to do it "legally", the first trailer had to be a fith wheel hitch. I thought I had read that in the past when I was looking at pulling a pop-up camper behind the car hauler.

Depends on the state. Here in MS it's legal and we've done it with the camper and boat but with my dad and I both driving (and the fact our truck is a gasser) it's just easier to use 2 vehicles.
If you wanna try it Chris we have more trailers in the club. But personally I won't be doing it anymore. I've never done it with anything but the camper and boat
