My passenger interior door handle broke awhile back and started to swap it out today. Went to pull off door panel and couldn't get Window crank off, looks like a clip is holding it on.
Anyone have a set of window crank pliers or know a trick that'll work

I just use a flat head screw driver to pop it off. Apparently I'm not doing it right.

Yeah really a flat head will do it but be careful. Those clips will pop off and go where ever it wants

A shop rag will work. Flatten it out and slide it between the crank and the door panel where the open end of the clip is and pull the rag to push the clip off. It may take a time or two to figure out what I'm talking about.

It works! And it doesn't scratch your door panels.
