Oakland Christmas Parade

Hey everyone, here's the information concerning the Town of Oakland's Christmas Parade. Sorry for the late notice on this, if you are able to make it just post up and I'll fill out the entry form. We will need a copy of your drivers license and proof of insurance on the rig you will be driving in the parade. The way we've done it in the past is everyone has emailed or text me that information and I will print it off and attach it to the form.

For those of you that don't know me, I am a Law Enforcement Officer and have been since 2001. I will keep your personal information private and will delete any and all correspondence after I print the information. If you don't feel comfortable sending the information to me, please be sure to be at the police department at least 45 minutes early and I will make copies of your information then.

2013 Oakland Christmas Parade



The 2013 Oakland Christmas parade is Saturday, Dec 7th , 2013, 6:00pm.



Entry DEADLINE is Friday, November 29th, 2013.



Please complete and return entry form –NO Entry free-

Bands, floats, cars, and more..



Floats will be judged and trophies awarded to the top 3 entries.



Parade route will begin on Chickasaw Ridge (in front of Wal-Mart), continue east on Highway 64 to Highway 194 North, and end at Oakland Elementary. Lighting of the Town’s Christmas tree by Mayor & Santa to follow immediately at corner of Hwy 64/ Hwy 194 (lot next to Goodwill).



All entries must have completed entry form and approval prior to parade.

There's not a set number of rigs that are allowed so if we have more than 10 that's fine. I just put a number up here just because.
