Switching to high mileage oil does this to people... Yeah I was thinking bout switching back to conventional I wanna say thanks to those that have voiced their input. Its greatly appreciated

yeah but the "damage" is done now.. I just use RotellaT. Don't ever plan on anything different. I've heard to many people having issues after switching to high mileage, or switching to synthetic, etc. Pick a quality oil and go with it.

Its greatly appreciated If i didnt have 2 projects goin right now i would offer up the garage.. its not that hard to swap the rear main or the pvc.. just need to find a place to do it

Just throwing this out there but are you 100% that it's the rear main? We thought mine was leaking but it was just sensor plug loose. Tightened it up and no more leak.

I've heard more than one person tell me they thought their 4.0 had a rear main leak and it turned out to be something else.. I would make sure first before tearing into it..

Yeah I'm gonna start with the two pcv type things and go from there But you can clearly see when its coming out at from oil pan gasket

You could just clean it all up, like previously stated, and then just smear black RTV all over it. Now it's repaired! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

I like parkers idea....I would help with that but my TJ is in the garage with the rear rearend tore out at the moment
