I believe they are also wound different... We've installed lifts from RC and you could tell from looking at them which one was the right rear.

I've never seen springs that were intentionally different from side to side, but my right rear squats so bad it is dangerous. I wonder if mine are set up this way and on the wrong side.

RC does it and I think a couple other lifts do it too.. Check with Ryan at RC and see if there is an easy way to check while it's on the Jeep...

Not a bad idea, but I can pull them off and compare them. Even if they are the same swapping them wouldn't hurt. It's not rocket appliances.

They should be progressive wound.. meaning one side will have the coils closer at one end than the other.. That's the passenger side

Yeah, I've been on second shift since 04. I'm putting a steering cylinder on a forklift right now.

I want to say that rc rears are the same left or right Pull up roughcountry.com and look
The coils will be close together on one end and apart on other.

These pics show that the front springs are narrow and longer than the rear on a TJ.. JK springs may be different I don't know.. but TJ springs are different front and rear.. ![](http://s17.postimg.org/7ak9hgj3f/RC_PERF_641_C.jpg) ![](http://s9.postimg.org/99y5okgwr/RC_PERF_641.jpg)

Mine leans to the front passenger side. I thought it would be that spring but when Bob called Ryan he said to measure them all and it is actually the 2 back ones.
