I've been out of the audio world for about 10 years or so. Not much into stereo competitions anymore. But, the tape deck in the TJ wasn't cutting it. I picked up a mid grade Sony for it that I could sync the blue tooth on my Iphone and listen to Pandora, etc...
My factory speakers are pretty much blown. I see that it takes 4x6's up front and 5.25 up top. Do we have any recommendations for replacements?

I have realm 6.5s in the sound bar. I saw somewhere that they offer and adapter for a 5 1/4 speaker for the front. As far as head unit I rock pioneer. With built in bluetooth.

That's the reason I waited... Thought you guys may have been installing slightly larger speakers.

I used factory sized Boston Acoustic speakers and amped them. Then added a 12" pioneer I-B Flat sub in the backseat. Using a pioneer Head unit to send the signals and Pioneer amp to push it all

The infinity 6.5" marine speakers are awesome! I had a Rockford fosgate PBR300x2 pushing a set on my 4 wheeler and it would blow most audio systems in a car away. The amp is super small so it fits almost anywhere and has crossovers and such built in for a ton of adjustment to get it right for your system. Also comes in a 4 channel and a 1 channel if needed.

Russell has Infinity plates in the dash. Kicker in the roll bar. Kicker 12IN 2 HM shallow mount in the rear seat sub box. A Boss 1800 watt amp mounted in the small rear cargo area. It shakes the entire jeep when he crankes it. His head unit does not even have a CD player. His Ipod fits in a tray inside the unit. He basically has limtless songs at his disposal. He does have a brand new sound bar for sale if you are intrested. It is still in the box.

They new kicker yellow line are a nice budget friendly speaker. I've got 2 in Cati's and will be getting 2 more.
In my b2, my mids/highs are Memphis Car Audio. Call it "buying the name" if you want but they have severed me very well for about 6 years already....

I've got 5.25s in the dash and 6.5s in the soundbar. Much better sound than stock. The 10" sub helps out too.
