Huge thanks to the Calvary Crawlers..great event. It was great to meet some new folks. Dave's deer chili rocked! we appreciate it. Magnus, the dear sausage and tenderloin was very very tasty. As always, it was great to get to hit the trails with good folks, as well as wheel with a few of ya'll for the first time. I think MJL enjoyed driving around behind a jeep on 42's And a big thanks to MJL for letting me beat on her jeep a little bit while she was riding around in Justin's buggy. Good times!

Upon inspection, I did the following: gave my passenger side drip rail a boo boo when it kissed a tree bent my passenger side front fender pretty darn good gave my crossmember a nice dent (I need a skid plate under there) small hole in the muffler the mystery of the caliper bolt It was all worth it coming home with a Smittybilt trail axe, a certificate for a set of grab handles from Skyjacker, and the registration packet for C4C. (I LOVE YOU DAVE!! - in a totally platonic way of course) And I gotta throw out my love too - CCOR provided us with some great BBQ and a great time! And kudos to them for donating to St Jude!! We had some good laughs with some guys from AC as well. Magnus...the deer sausage was fire! Dave - chili was killer! Thanks to both you guys as well. I had a blast this weekend. That was the first time I my Jeep on the trails since the Rough Country run last year and I was pleased with how it did....like Jeff said, I got to follow Charlie around on 42s...and my axles stayed in one piece!

my carnage list- -driver side u-joint (fixed in the parking lot) -soft top door surround -tow hook snapped in half (not in use...hit it on a rock) -passenger side u-joint and short side of the axle, but the long side is pretty chewed up so Im not sure if it will be usable. Dang what trails did you do? the first ujoint and the door surround were on four fingers. The rest was thanks to baileys. I had a buddy with me that had never done anything like that, so I got a little carried away.

Looks like it's time to put those CroMoly's in! Sounds like ya'll had a great time. Justin called me Friday evening asking if I wanted to come over and I planned on it but we didn't land until 3:30 Saturday morning so I would have had to drive all night just to get there by noon on Saturday. I would have been useless after being up for almost 48 hrs so I thought it better to stay here. Can't wait to see some pictures.
