I have an 04 TJ with 4" lift and lockers front and rear. At about 50 mph it starts a pretty bad vibrate. Its not the tires being out of balance type of vibrate. Seems to be coming from middle to rear, in other words, not from the front diff. Is the rear driveshaft in a bind? What could it be? I'm getting tired of it, almost to the point of selling my jeep...please help.
If you can help please respond to thread or call Kevin at 6017206719
THANK YOU in advance

If you suspect it's the rear shaft, take that dude out in four hi without the rear shaft. Do you have a slip yoke eliminator? What control arms do you have? Are you running a transfer case drop?

Take the front DS out and run it.. If it stops then it's your ujoints in the shaft.. Takes about 10 mins to take it out.
Check your front axle joints.. sometimes they will get dry and bind up or the caps get loose..
Also do what Deep said and take the rear shaft out if your Tcase is sealed on the output (some are some aren't) and drive it in 4hi... at least you'll narrow it down to a specific location

Is it auto or manual?
It could be pinion angle Like they said Take rear ds out and drive in 4h, if it doesn't do it then its either bad joints or angle
If you have an auto, try a mml or you can get these transfer case drop bars from me

Thanks for responses guys. To answer some of the questios.
I am in Hernando It is an automatic Transfer case/tranny is stock not running a transfer case drop dont know what kind of control arms dont know about a slip yoke eliminator, I would say no it doesn't have one
The aftermarket parts consist of 4" lift, 4.56 gears, aussie lockers front and rear, and it is a rocky mtn edition jeep so came w/ a dana44 in rear. everything else is stock

Your rear ds is only held on by 4 bolts at the rear diff. Unbolt it and get it up to 50 mph while driving in 4hi. Its more than likely pinion angle, happened to me. If you need a transfer case drop, I have one that your welcome too.

That's awesome Justin! The reasoning behind the questions i asked boils down to u joint angles. You suspected it was rear drive line and with 4 inches if lift, you may be right. Post up what y'all find.
