That's a short list considering. What did you do for brakes? The bigger brakes and bigger wheel/tire assembly will need a little more pressure than the Jeep M/C can put out. When you test drive it the first time don't get crazy till you find out if you can stop it. If you can't stop it on the street you might not can stop it going down hill on a trail. Just a thought. Looks good, it's got a good stance. Good advice.. I changed mine out to a Dodge 3500 MC... Works great!

I think the M/C has already been changed to something other than the small Jeep M/C. I guess we will see what happens with the test drive.

Is there a reason you still using drum brakes in the rear?

That was my thinking. If you need brakes on the rear anyway, go ahead and do the disc swap. Buy the brackets off eBay and get rotors and pads and calipers from parts store and bolt it on. Couple lines and fittings and your done.

I am running drum breaks because, I ran out of money. the spings are super lift 6" springs. they are mounted on the top of the leafs so it is probably about 9"s of lift, maybe 10"s. I saw the pics of your lights going through the windshield. They are not wired yet so, I may not keep them there.

I know that disc brakes are more effective than drum, but these drums are designed for a full size truck rated with a one ton capacity. Is the conversion really necessary?

Its not.. james runs his drums and his truck is a lot heavier than a yj is.. but discs are a lot easier to change out and they look cooler. ;-)

I won't argue with that.
